- JOB IDENTIFICATION
- Position Title: Assistant Project Manager (APM)
- Position Level/Remuneration: Consolidated salary of Nu 35,000/month
- The main responsibility of the APM is to assist APPEAR and Solar Dryer Project managers.
- GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist project manager with all aspects of the development and implementation of a research project.
- Manage collection and processing of field data as and when required.
- Prepare and present technical reports to the project manager.
- Undertake other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the project manager and the president.
- QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience: Preference shall be given to those with a minimum five years of field experience
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Confidence to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and a demanding schedule
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- SERVICE STATUS: Fixed Term Appointment for 5 months (extendable depending on the need and performance).
