Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate must:

  1. Be a Bhutanese Citizen
  2. Have attained 18 years of age and not more than 45 years of age at the time of recruitment.
  3. Meet qualification, experience and other requirements as specified in the position profile of the positions.

Minimum Benchmark criteria:

  1. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English + best 4 subject) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects), and 55% in Bachelor’s degree (honors) / 60% in Bachelor’s degree (general). (Note:criteria will not apply for those with minimum of five years of relevant experience). Applicable to Sl. No. 1 & 2.
  2. Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Diploma and 50% each in Class X (English + best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English + best 3 subjects). Applicable to Sl. No. 3.
  3. Applications that do not meet the minimum benchmark criteria will not be considered

 

Weighting for shortlisting:

  1. Assistant ICT Officer and Assistant Librarian

‘Aggregate’ has been calculated considering:

  • Academic performance: 15% of Class X, 25% of Class XII and 60% of Bachelors degree
  • Experience:
    -5 bonus points awarded for those with 5-10 years of relevant experience
    -10 bonus points awarded for those with more than 10 years of relevant experience
  1. Laboratory Technician

‘Aggregate’ has been calculated considering:

  • Academic performance: 20% of Class X, 30% of Class XII and 50% of Diploma
  • Experience:
    -5 bonus points awarded for those with 5-10 years of relevant experience
    -10 bonus points awarded for those with more than 10 years of relevant experience

Written Examination:

Subsequent to shortlisting of candidates for Assistant ICT Officer and Assistant Librarian positions, a written examination will be held to test candidates for Dzongkha and English communicative skills, logic and analytical, problem solving and data interpretation abilities. Subject knowledge shall also be tested wherever applicable. There will be no written examination for the laboratory technician position, unless the college feels necessary to conduct, for which prior information shall be shared to the candidates.

Date and venue for written examination will be informed to candidate / uploaded in the college’s web site.

Reference Check:

A thorough reference check will be carried out for all positions and candidates are required to provide proper details of references while applying.

Documents Required:

  1. Copy of valid Security Clearance Certificate
  2. Copy of valid Medical Fitness Certificate (valid for 6 months from the date of issuance)
  3. Academic Transcripts:
  • Marksheets of Class X
  • Marksheets of Class XII
  • Marksheets of Diploma
  • Marksheets of Bachelor Degree (Grade conversion of marksheets must be submitted if the marks are awarded in CGPA or any international marking system.
  1. Copy of Citizenship ID card
  2. Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed
  3. No Objection Certificate from the current employer if employed (clearly indicating that the candidate can contest for the position and upon selection, can start working in the new position, if employed)
  4. Applications with incomplete documents or invalid documents will not be considered.
