The JNEC organized startup Weekend from 29th -31st March 2019 in collaboration with DITT, MoIC. Out of 56 pitched business ideas, only 25 ideas were selected for National Startup Weekend to be held from 25th- 29th April in Thimphu.
During the weekend, 13 mentors and 15 teams were rigorously involved in prototype development for 54 hrs to move forward with their selected ideas.
The final event was graced by Honorable Dasho Nidup Dorji,
Vice Chancellor, RUB and distinguished guest speaker Mr Sangay Rinzin,GM from SMCL, Samtse.
From 15 teams, four winners were awarded certificates and prizes by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and JNEC and CLCS Presidents.
It was the 2nd college startup weekend organized jointly by DITT and JNEC.
