Jigme Namgyel Engineering College conducted a pre-departure briefing for students scheduled to travel abroad as a part of their academic programme. The President of the College, Dr. Andu Dukpa briefed the student group and faculty escorts on 28th November, 2019.
Two 3rd year Bachelor of Engineering in Power Engineering students will be travelling to Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST), Poland for a semester-away programme starting February, 2020.
Four 2nd year Bachelor of Engineering in Power Engineering students will be travelling to Bialystok University of Technology (BUT), Poland for a semester away programme starting February, 2020.
Under the SAKURA Exchange Program in Science, eight students along with one faculty will be travelling Kansai University, Japan from 14th – 20th January, 2020. While another group of five students along with one faculty under the same exchange programme will be traveling to Waseda University, Japan from 11th – 17th December, 2019.
Likewise, one student is scheduled to travel to Singapore in January 2020 and a JNEC Rover Scout representative to Japan under the JENESYS programme.
