29th June, 2015: Jigme Namgyel Polytechnic along with 184 graduates celebrated its 41st graduation day. The graduating students celebrated while collecting their diploma certificates. In his speech, Director of the institute, Dr. Andu Dukpa, congratulated the graduates for all the hard work they have put in during their stay in the institute. Director awarded the diploma certificates to the graduates. Academic toppers and councilors were also recognized by awarding them certificates and prizes.
From the total of 184 graduating students this year, 98 students were civil engineers, 34 were electrical engineers, 27 mechanical engineers, 14 were trained in Computer Hardware and Networking and 11 of them were trained in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
