On 24th July, the academic toppers for the session Jan-July, 2017, were awarded prizes and certificates by the President of the College.

27th July 2015: To acknowledge and promote student academic excellence, Jigme Namgyel Polytechnic started to honor the academic toppers. Director of the institute awarded the prizes to 6 toppers from various programmes.
