A team comprising of 15 students (Eight from Jigme Namgyel Engineering College & seven from College of Science and Technology) and a faculty coordinator from Jigme Namgyel Engineering College visited Japan from 15th to 25th January, 2017 for cultural exchange program under JENESYS 2016. The program was funded by the government of Japan. There were 112 participants, sixteen members each with a faculty coordinator from all the countries of SAARC except Afghanistan.
The ten days of exchange program has been a part of exposure opportunities to visit some of the important places in Japan such as technological museum, universities, prefectures, temples and villages. The participants had wonderful experience in knowing unique culture and amazing advancement in the field of technology.
The participating faculty and students are thankful to the management of two colleges for this remarkable exchange program opportunity to Japan which has benefited all individual in gaining wider perspectives of different countries.
