Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) hosted the 7th Winter University Games from 12th – 17th December, 2022.
The Opening Ceremony which was held on 12th and was graced by Dasho Tashi Wangmo, Dzongda of Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag while on 17th December, Dasho Neten Zangmo, former Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Bhutan graced the Closing Ceremony of the tournament.
This year, 9 colleges under Royal University of Bhutan participated and competed in four different disciplines; football, volleyball, basketball and archery.
The main objective of BUSF tournament was to enhance and improve relations amongst the participating colleges under the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) and to promote RUB’s goal – Education through Sports.
