On 27th October, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) accomplished yet another achievement by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), India.
Professor Sanjay Dambhare, representative from the College of Engineering, Pune, was joined by Director, Dr. Andu Dukpa, and along with Deans and Heads of the Department of the college. As a opening remark, Mr. Hemlal, Dean Research and Industrial Linkages welcomed Prof. Sanjay and expressed extreme gratitude to Prof. Sanjay for his visit as mark of strong link between College of Engineering, Pune and Jigme Namgyel Engineering College.
Professor Sanjay on the other hand mentioned “it’s a love and affection of you all and I think it’s a great initiative for both the colleges have taken” Professor shared that though signing MoU is formally usual way, it will make more sense when closely linked with heart to work jointly. With the sense of appreciation towards enthusiasm and energy shown by Director and faculty in starting B.E Power Engineering College of Engineering, Pune is always positive, open minded and willing to have strong link to support through various programmes such as faculty and students exchange program, industrial visit, research, workshop, and seminar collaboratively. Professor also conveyed wishes of Director, College of Engineering, Pune.
In the concluding remark, Director, Jigme Namgyel Engineering College expressed on the achievement made in terms of linkage with one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. Director mentioned that MoU will be materialized and look forward to have meaningful link for the overall growth of both the colleges through notable exchange programmes. Director conveyed his wishes to former and current Director, College of Engineering, Pune.
