Shortlisted Candidates for Lecturer’s Positions and Technician’s Position

Jigme Namgyel Engineering College would like to announce the list of candidates shortlisted for Lecturer’s Positions and Technician’s Position.

Note:

1. There are no candidates shortlisted for the position of Surveying and Management Lecturer’s positions

 Shortlisting Criteria:

For Lecturer’s Positions:

1. Candidates must meet the benchmark score: Minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (Eng + best 4) and Class XII (Eng + best 3), and 55% in Bachelors degree (honors)/60% in Bachelors degree (general), unless with minimum of five years of relevant experience in professional positions. (Note: Relevant experience is considered for shortlisting purpose only)
2. Top 7 candidates have been shortlisted based on merit rank of aggregate marks. ‘Aggregate %’ has been calculated considering performance in academic qualifications: 15% of Class X, 25% of Class XII and 60% of Bachelors degree. Additionally, 5 bonus points have been awarded for those with 5-10 years of relevant experience at professional positions.
3. For those candidates with Certificate Level and Diploma Level qualification, marks for latest qualification (ie. Certificate and Diploma levels) are considered while shortlisting candidates instead of class X and XII
4. Candidates with incomplete documents have not been considered for shortlisting.

For Surveying Technician’s Position:

1. Candidates with Diploma qualification must have an aggregate of 60% in Diploma, 50% in Class X (English + best 4 subject) and 50% in Class XII (English + best 3 subjects).
2. Top 7 candidates have been shortlisted based on merit rank of aggregate marks. ‘Aggregate %’ has been calculated considering performance in academic qualifications: 20% of Class X, 30% of Class XII and 50% of Diploma. Additionally, 5 bonus points have been awarded for those with 5-10 years of relevant work experience
3. Candidates with incomplete documents have not been considered for shortlisting.

Interview dates:

1. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the interview dates and modalities for interview will be shared at a later date and after confirmation of the current place of residence of shortlisted candidates, since Samdrup Jongkhar area is still considered a High Risk Zone by the National COVID-19 Task Force.

Candidates may appeal to the Administrative Section latest by 3:15 PM on 5^th November 2020 for any grievances related to shortlisting at 07260302 during office hours (8:00 AM – 3:15 PM).
