A 3-day Challenge Assessment Workshop under the ‘Capacity Enhancement in Electrical Equipment Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnostics (CEEECoM)’ project commenced today, March 27, 2024 at City Hotel in Thimphu. The main objective of the workshop which is being funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union is to address challenges encountered by engineers in the field on condition monitoring, fault diagnostics, and maintenance of heavy electrical equipment within utility companies and industries. The participants include representatives from partner universities: three officials from Aalto University (Finland), five officials from Tallinn University (Estonia), three officials from Kathmandu University (Nepal), two officials from Tribhuvan University (Nepal), as well as engineers from Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC), Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC), and College of Science and Technology (CST).
