Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) had a four visitors from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) from 16th – 20th September, 2017. They were in the college under the Erasmus+ programme for individual faculty mobility program of Erasmus+ through the mutual agreement between JNEC and WUST since 2016. The team comprises of:
• Anna Ewa Wozna, Assistant Lecturer (Manufacturing Process)
• Rasoslaw Witold Michalski, Assistant Lecturer (System Networking)
• Joanna Zofia Helman, Assistant Lecturer (Manufacturing Process)
• Maria Magdalena Rosienkiewicz, Assistant Lecturer (Manufacturing Process)
During their stay at JNEC, the professors gave lectures on manufacturing process, social network analysis and conducted practical classes on the usage of application software. Further the team also provided their expertise in developing the new programme B.E Mechanical engineering which is target to institutionalize by July 2018. The college also took the team for excursion to nearby local places.
The team of the four professors left JNEC on 21st September 2017 and are on the way to Thimphu accompanied by Dean of Academic Affairs. While at Thimphu, they will have an audience with the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Director (Department of Research and External Linkages) and officials from Royal University of Bhutan. They will be traveling back to Poland on 29th September, 2017.
